Which Hashtag to choose? (popular, niche)?

For those of you who have done my social media marketing campaign course, please use the Twitter search monitoring to check/observe/find hashtags in your social media monitoring dashboard.

Also consider using Hashtags.org or tweetreach.com to check velocity (did it take 1 minute or 1 year to reach 50 tweets on that #hashtag you are using???) Maybe you are using #food but everyone else is using #foodporn? Perhaps your conference has #AReallyLongHashtag but everyone else is using #short ones?

Hashtagify.me also has suggestions for hashtags.
